Opportunities & offers
1. *One for the groovers, the CMS movers, the Drupal upgraders....*
Posted by Keira Roth keira(a)dev.ngo
OK so the last one didn't *quite* rhyme... Is there anyone out there
who is currently thinking about moving CMS? Especially those needing to
make the upgrade to Drupal 10. If you’re looking for a change but
that feels high-risk, we might be able to help.
We at The Developer Society have some surplus funding with a ‘sector’
and ‘reuse’ focus, and so *we can offer spun-up Wagtail sites with your
branding applied*. Hopefully this could help you evaluate Wagtail CMS in
a low-risk way. Let me know if you’d like to have a poke around under the
bonnet to see what all the noise is about: keira(a)dev.ngo
Platform and tool announcements
1. *New report: engagement actions*
Posted by Claire Donner claire(a)more-onion.com
This report is all about engagement actions that allow us to actively
involve our supporters in a way that’s appealing and hopefully fun too. In
the report we explain a little more about what engagement actions are, how
they can fit into your supporter communications and how you can create your
own. There’s some case studies in there for inspiration too. Grab your free
copy here: https://act.more-onion.com/report-engagement.
2.
*PostBug: get noticed by new MPs with printed postcards *PostBug.com is a
digital campaigning platform enables your supporters to *send real
printed postcards and letters* from their device. For the UK general
election on July 4, once the new MPs are in place they will be bombarded
online in at attempt to engage and influence them and the government.
Printed postcards and letters get noticed because they are *physical,
tactile, portable with a presence* when designed well and piled up on a
desk or notice board. Plus less is more: it only takes a few to be noticed.
See possibilities <https://postbug.app/solutions> and case studies
<https://postbug.app/case-studies> and request a demo
<https://postbug.app/demo>. Note: PostBug will only take 15 client
actions in July to ensure they all have maximum impact.
(Disclosure: PostBug is run by FairSay)
Cheers,
Duane
