Hi again,

I don't know if you saw that the annual Campaigning Forum event is happening again in Oxford March 19-21...here are some updates...join us!

Planning for the 2024 Campaigning Forum in Oxford March 19-21 is in full swing, so here are some updates:
  1. If you plan to come, apply now as prices go up after Feb 19 (Sunday)

  2. Participants: we are now 23 confirmed participants and more are in-progress. See list at https://fairsay.com/campaigning-forum-2024/#participants

  3. Speaker day 1 (Mar 20): Antonia Bance (LinkedIn) from the TUC will be talking about preparing for a change in government and what to expect if/when it happens (last time it happened in the UK was 14 years ago)

  4. Speaker day 2 (new) March 21Benali Hamdache (LinkedIn) will be sharing examples and principles of local organising that span both charities and political party work as well as blending offline with online

  5.  Stream 1: Diversity and Inclusion curated by Geena Patel (LinkedIn). Geena will be asking for input from the community and using her extensive experience to bring this crucial topic to the event. She will also identify 1-2 people to join to speak about diversity and inclusion (TBC)

  6. Stream 2: Countering disinformation curated by Brian Fitzgerald (LinkedIn) Brian, whom many of you know from his work on storytelling and Greenpeace (and was at the first ECF in 2002!) is pulling together some discussions and he will also identify 1-2 people to join to speak about diversity and inclusion (TBC)

  7. There might be a third stream on digital - but I'm waiting for a response back (you know who you are ;-).

  8. As ALWAYS the heart of the event is participants and discussion between them. All speakers and streams are meant to inspire and inform those discussions and speakers themselves are there to discuss and learn too.
...so join us at the 2024 Campaigning Forum in Oxford March 19-21 and if you have any questions get in touch directly (contact details below or email)....price goes up Feb 19 :-)

Cheers,

Duane
